PROFESSIONAL FEES
I am not a participating provider on insurance panels. I can supply you with a “superbill” at your request, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A superbill is an itemized form reflecting rendered services. Please note that not all insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers. If you participate in an insurance plan that offers out-of-network reimbursement, you may want to consider using third party companies, such as Better (https://getbetter.co), that uses a photo of your bill to help you obtain reimbursement. They determine your eligibility and follow up with your health insurance company. If you prefer to use a participating provider at any point in treatment, I will be happy to review your list of providers, refer to a trusted colleague, and do what I can to facilitate transition of care.
